The 9th Congress and Workshop of the Nigerian Institute of Translators and Interpreters was held, as announced (see the notice), on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th March 2011, at the Conference Hall of the Top Rank Hotels, Abuja with the theme: TRANSLATION / INTERPRETATION, INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY.
The Conference was attended by language practitioners – translators, interpreters and teachers - from all over the country who acquainted themselves with the various options of the Internet as a strong tool for translation and interpretation in the 21st century. Rising from the conference, the Nigerian Institute of Translators and Interpreters agreed on the following communique: CLICK HERE
